Philosophy & Goals
The communication of the Gospel message by word and witness is central in Catholic Education. This philosophy leads our school to motivate students to grow academically, culturally and socially in an atmosphere designed to celebrate and practice the love of God and neighbor. We provide a Christian environment with regularly scheduled Chapel Time and School Mass. Our second graders also have the privilege of attending St. Peter’s during a sacramental year and receiving their First Reconciliation and Eucharist. The K-8 programs follow the course of academic standards recommended by the Colorado Department of Education and approved by the Diocese of Colorado Springs. The school uses Core Knowledge curriculum. Areas of focus include personal and social development, mathematical thinking, social studies, physical education and health, language and literacy, scientific thinking, art, Spanish and computer technology.
