Curriculum
Each classroom has a head teacher who is aided by an assistant. Parent involvement is always encouraged and helps our classroom maintain a low adult to student ratio. All teachers maintain professional development in early childhood education, are certified in infant and child CPR, and have background and fingerprint checks through CBI.
Our curriculum is concerned with the development of child’s spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and sensorimotor development. We provide opportunities for children to interact, explore and relate successfully to his/her environment through the use of organized and free-play activities. To encourage growth in our Catholic faith, students attend weekly chapel time and school Mass. St. Peter Catholic School follows the curriculum guidelines set forth by the Archdiocese of Denver. A more detailed Scope and Sequence for each age bracket is available in our school office.
