SANDRA RIVERA, PRINCIPAL

Welcome to Pauline. My name is Sandra Rivera, and I am extremely privileged to serve you and God as the new principal.

I was born in New York and moved to Ohio during my elementary years. I attended Catholic schools in both states. I moved to Colorado after graduating with a degree in Elementary Education from Ohio State University. I will celebrate my twenty-third wedding anniversary this year to my husband, Julian. We are the proud parents of two children; Kelsie and Jared. Kelsie just graduated from Colorado State University- Ft. Collins with a degree in Applied Human Sciences and Jared graduated from High School and will be attending Colorado State University-Pueblo.

I recently retired from public education after 30 years. I taught middle school math for the first 20 years and spent the last years as an administrator, most recently principal at Skyview Middle School for the past 6 years. Although retired, I knew I still had so much to give. I believe I was being called to work for you and your children. I am very excited. With God’s guidance, we will continue to excel.
