It is important for your children to see that you care about their school. They need to know that you see it as a priority, and that you are proud of the school. The school needs your involvement to be successful. Everyone is welcome to attend meetings and bring their ideas for educational and social activities.

The HSA sponsors various meeting activities and school programs throughout the year. The HSA uses funds from the fund raising events to sponsor needed projects around the school, programs, and activities, including the design and printing of the school directory and the teachers’ and staffs’ Christmas Luncheon.

In past years, the HSA has funded: scholarship grants, playground and gym equipment, new computer technology, sports uniforms, window gaskets, professional development classes for the staff, provided teachers’/staffs’ bonuses and Xmas party, $100 for each room parent for classroom parties, thank you gifts for volunteers, and donated funds to St. Mary’s Catholic High School for each 8th grader. Our goals are “LARGE”, but with everyone’s involvement and support we can DO IT.

The HSA executive committee is made up of a president, vice president [position open], secretary, treasurer, school principal, and volunteer coordinator. You can see the bylaws here. The executive committee meets monthly to review agendas and current concerns.
