Preschool Program
Philosophy
We believe that Early Childhood Education should provide young children with a safe and loving environment in which they can explore, experiment, and grow spiritually.
About Our Preschool Program
- Established in 2005
- Prepares each child with a foundation for continued success in their education
- Licensed through the State of Colorado and Tri-County Health Department
Our Curriculum
is designed to provide active learning experiences in four developmental areas of a child's growth: communication, cognitive, physical and social emotional. Ave Maria Catholic Preschool follows the curriculum guidelines set forth by the Archdiocese of Denver. We combine these guidelines with Saxon Early Learning Curriculum, Imagine It Language Arts Program, Handwriting Without Tears, and Sharing in God’s Story.
Saxon Early Learning offers children a reassuring first experience in a school environment, as well as an enjoyable introduction to the basic concepts that affect their lives. On a daily basis, children observe, question, discuss and participate.
Imagine It Language Arts Program
Handwriting Without Tears uses multi-sensory techniques and consistent habits for letter formation to teach handwriting to our preschool students.
