Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation is the sacrament where by Catholics receive the gift of Holy Spirit.  This sacrament is usually administered by the Bishop.  Acts 19:1-7

Youth Confirmation is for candidates in either seventh or eighth grade and must be a baptized Catholic, have regular attendance in a formal Faith Formation Program last year, or have attended a Catholic School with regular attendance.  Candidates must attend all Confirmation liturgy services, attend one Confirmation retreat, and partipate in weekly Masses.  A parent and/or guardian and Sponsor (if available) are required to attend liturgy services and retreat (if applicable).  After reception of the sacrament, the newly confirmed must continue in Faith Formation/Mystagogy for the next year and attend a spiritual retreat in that year.
